Idiots want all MPs sacked
I’m sick of hearing those with uninformed strong opinions on radio phone-ins. I’ve heard call after call of very stupid people saying that all MPs should be sacked.
Why don’t people think things through? Only a lunatic would want 646 novice parliamentarians. Plus, I’ve heard people say that they’re not going to vote for any of the three main parties at the next general election.
Brilliant! Not only novices, but novices without a common cause or leader.
Hundreds of newly elected independents/single-issue-candidates/racists/chancers arguing amongst themselves. All of them wanting to sit on the government benches! All of them pretending to know how to run the country.
Look, some MPs clearly tried to milk the system. Fine, get rid of those specific people. But every single MP?
Anyway, here’s the brilliant Tony Benn telling it like it is. I really wish he was still an MP.
