I managed to get it working on a standard LCD TV, I can't remember whether I had to manually tune or use RCA cables. But it looked pretty good and crisp. Bonding with your Dad, problem-solving, keeping out of trouble, etc. I know what you mean about waiting for games to load. It did make it more special though. Made you appreciate it and stick with the game longer (even if it was rubbish). I'm going to sound like a grandad but I think there is too much instant gratification nowadays. 'Oh Mummy' was another classic game that I used to waste my youth playing on my Dad's Amstrad - great days. Although I'm not sure I'd have the patience to wait 30mins for the tapes to load anymore.
